Christine brings to the board a passion for the wellness of the body and the mind. She has spend her career helping others in various ways, be it as a wellness director at Excel Diagnostic Imaging Clinic or as the Principal of the St. Michael's Learning Academy helping veterans receive professional certifications that help them return to the workforce as relevant and valuable professionals.
Julie Baskin Brooks
Julie is an accomplished HR and Organizational Development Executive with experience in Fortune 10 companies such as Sysco, LyondellBassel, IBM, The Human Element, QED, Pearl Meyer & Partners, Xerox, Philip Morris/Kraft Foods, GE Capital and Champion International. By leveraging her leadership, organizational, analytical and communication skills, Julie is a progressive in Consumer Products, Consulting, Financial Services, Foodservice and Office Technology environments. Through her company, Legna & Associates, LLC she leverages her expertise in applying the Diversity and Inclusion lens to Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Employee Engagement and Employee Development.
Recently, Julie directed Sysco’s Diversity efforts, where she launched their first Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council and developed its (first) Diversity Roadmap, Diversity Training Curriculum and Measurement Systems. Julie also has a special place in her heart for youth and developed and delivered a toolkit intended to support children’s appreciation of Diversity (Who am I?, Who are you? and Raising Children in a Diverse World). Julie is a Corporate Fellow with University of Houston – Downtown and has been an Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University. Julie is a member of Leadership Houston Class XXXVI.
Julie is currently pursuing her PhD in Organizational Development and Change at the Fielding Graduate University, has an MS in Organizational Management and HR Development from Manhattanville College and a BA in Math and Philosophy from Mt. Holyoke College. Julie currently serves on the Board of Directors for ESCAPE (Houston, TX) and Mission One (Houston, TX).
Rob Roberts has over 30 years of IT, Business, and Marketing experience. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1994 with a degree in Management Information Systems after working for the university fhe held positions at International Paper and Compaq Computer Corporation focused on IT and business process design before entering the consulting arena. During this time, Mr. Roberts also attained an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University majoring in International Business. In 2000, he co-founded EnterSys Group, a consulting firm focused on implementing ERP systems specializing in software from SAP. Serving clients in the Energy and Services sectors. Mr. Roberts founded Leviathan Consulting, LLC in 2009 to provide the same level of IT services to small and midsize businesses. While maintaining Leviathan Consulting, Roberts also served as a Director of Technology for Sirius Solutions, serving clients in Energy, Services, and Construction with a focus on ERP systems, software selection, and M&A due diligence. Mr. Roberts is a former board member of the American Marketing Association, a former Area Governor for Toastmasters International, and the Past Chapter Chair for Americas SAP User Group Houston.
